I designed and constructed a bespoke bike ramp for access up a set of garden steps. It had to be strong enough to bear the weight of a large capacity bike with its rider, and yet be light enough to install and remove on a regular basis. The ramp incorporated a wheelbarrow wheel for ease of movement and storage when not in use.
