Get a different perspective on drawing by using a new layout of sketch pad. Why do nearly all sketch pads constrain you to the A1, A2, A3 etc system when many of us want to create artwork that isn’t in that format? Why not try out this landscape option! They are very portable- they fit in a rucksack or satchel quite easily.
Here are some drawings with charcoal and ink that I did with my pad and board when I was in the North West and Orkney.

Each cover is an original hand-made print of “the Firth of Forth with Fife further afield”, by Edinburgh-based print-maker Kirsty Dick.
When used with the Longland Sketch Boards, the sketch pads are easily rested on your knees if seated or against the steering wheel of a (stationary!) car. This means you can sit out in the countryside in comfort away from the midges and the rain to sketch or paint the landscape from the driving seat.

These quality 250 gsm pads are 450 x 105 mm and have at least 20 sheets in each. You have the option of card or cartridge paper. The pads are bound by a Chicago screw so it is easy to remove sheets. Each pad weighs approximately 500g.
The wire hanger can also act as a display stand. Wire hangers are still in the prototype stage but will be ready very soon. Price £TBA
Use them in the out and about with the Longland Sketch Board then display your works of art using the Viewfinder or Corner Frames which are specially designed to fit the Seascape Sketch Pad.
