Decorative not-to-scale models of the Skye ferry slipways at Glenelg and Kylerhea which work as door wedges. Hand made by James Kean from solid hardwood.
The Glenelg slip has a model of the Stevenson lighthouse that was originally built on the Sandaig Islands (of Gavin Maxwell’s “Ring of Bright Water” fame) and which was rebuilt at the ferry slip when decommissioned.
The Kylerhea slip has a model of the old classic K6 telephone box which you can find on the Isle of Skye side of the sound.
